There are three categories that donations will be used to benefit. The first is to contribute to our effort to get research from the lab to the clinic as quickly as possible. The second is to benefit our efforts in encouraging the federal government to dedicate more dollars to research for Chiari malformation, syringomyelia, neuropathic pain, spinal cord injury, and related conditions. The third is to go toward administration costs. Examples of these costs are computer software, paper materials and hosting for the Column of Hope website. While administration costs are necessary to run a successful organization Column of Hope is dedicated to have the majority of donations benefit programs.
